Sewing Tips

Sewing is tricky, so it is always advisable to buy some extra fabric. We tend to forget that every piece we cut off needs one additional centimeter in diameter. This extra fabric goes into each and every seam. If you cut the fabric exactly by your measurements without adding the extra diameter, you will create a piece of clothing that is one size too small for you.

There are different types of needles for different fabric thicknesses, so make sure to use stronger needles for thicker fabric.

Your sewing machine has a lower thread, and sometimes it can get tangled and mess up your work. To prevent this, make sure to always go on a slow and steady speed every time you are filling up a new batch of lower thread. This way the thread will be evenly placed and have less chance of tangling.
